It was a night full of smiles, gratitude and celebration as the Davis School District honored its 2025 Best of Davis Award recipients May 13 at Cinemark Farmington at Station Park.
The Best of Davis Awards represent the district’s highest recognition, celebrating employees who demonstrate excellence in their roles and make a lasting impact on students, schools and the broader community.
Awardees were selected through a detailed nomination and review process involving input from coworkers, supervisors, parents and students. Applications and letters of support were reviewed by a committee of past winners, stakeholders and community members before final selections were made.
Forty-five employees were honored across four categories: 15 elementary educators, 15 secondary educators, and a combined group of 15 classified and instructional support staff. Each recipient received a custom award, jacket and $500 honorarium. They were celebrated in a private ceremony held in three theater rooms, followed by a screening of A League of Their Own.
